0:26 is the whole truth! Mood 4 EVERY Kaufman film 😂😂😂🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻💯💯💯.
I would say it's not the usual horror you watched, it's something very different of horror I seen. Again, horror to me is not because the external environment but the internal human dark side. However, this movie didn't make me scared and just little upset by its high rating seen.
I'm thinking of (I thought) the same thing as you when I saw the title of the videos with the expression: endind explained. Thats not the point. Great review! I loved the movie too.
Excuses excuses to justify a pretencious bad movie. I said id unsub if you posted vid praising this movie 🔫🔫🔫🔫. Just a janitor with dementia? That's it? Kauffman really over-complicated something pretty simple. I remember being in the theatre with my then girlfriend and when that Librarian scene hit I was like “oh shit. ” only thing that kinda creeped me out that whole time. To be honest, your two seconds didn't quite achieve what you intended to express, on the contrary, it costs the continuity of the sequence. That wide shot seems redundant as they are already IN the barn, and having conversation inside, and you cutting it back with a wide shot is just odd. You're nuts. In a good way. 🤯🤯🤯- He killed himself and the title gave it away all along.
I thought for sure 2 men and a baby would be on here with the “ghost boy” in the window. @watchmojo I couldnt see the hanging munchkin. Yall need to circle ⭕️ stuff so we can see it, not just tell us about it & move on. Could of circle what you were claiming, I had to keep rewinding to see what you were talking about🤔.
The insidious and conjuring movies are the masters of creepy things in the background
RIP Jake. Where is everyone getting the dementia from? Someone explain pls. I'm Thinking of Ending Things' Good-Bad for my mental health. Nevertheless, Great video. Perfect for snobs, it almost works like a snob detector. This entire movie was extremely hard to watch. Welp. Now imma have to watch it again. Heavy spoilers was here. 's what you look like. Heartbreaking. Utterly soul crushing. I thought the movie was really boring the first 45 minutes and then it got interesting then back to boring then to meh.
Another non horror example, in Spider-Man when Harry Osborne has the dream of the Green Goblin jump scare, its so brief its almost impossible to catch but just as Goblin jumps into the camera far behind him in a dark space of the ceiling is a whole other Green Goblin just standing there staring at the audience. Easily my favorite analysis of this movie! I also felt echoes of The Shining during the movie and couldnt put my finger on why they felt so similar to me, great work.
This is what its like to be dementia (the film. I really enjoy that your videos always look so clean idk haha also i love your diction. About the movie: Kaufman is really not for me... Does anyone know where I can find the music, I've tried everywhere. When my friend and I watched Hereditary we accidentally paused it right at the shot in 9:20, where Annie is seen on the ceiling. We didnt notice and went to get snacks and when we came back and went to unpause it we saw her and I swear I nearly choked on my drink. Both of us were legitimately scared to unpause.
Does anyone have any clue what the rash girl was talking about when she mentioned the varnish smell? And how she was worried for 'Lucy. 09/21/2020 The monotone drone of the characters makes this dull, lackluster long film even more unlikeable. Without reading the reviews by other IMDb users (who apparently read the book) I would have no understanding "ZERO" of what I just watched? I pray that I never unknowingly watch this two hour long drivel again. I did NOT like the movie. Bon Appetit. I just got so sad and just overall cried when i reached this scene. It's supposed to be a romantic scene but with the overall message of the movie, this scenes portrays all the what if's and could have been's of Jake if only he did try to approach Lucy. It showed you how magical their love could've been before it was killed. Love was killed before it even had the chance to begin. Also, the fact that old Jake the janitor killed young Jake meant that reality has finally hit him. He woke up from his dream and accepted that things will never be the way he imagined it ought to be and that's how he came up with his final answer of eventually ending things- his life.
I can tell you put some effort and love into this review. I loved this movie and feel like I am in the minority on this one. You earned a subscriber for sure. I just thought he had drugged her which made her hallucinate and she was going to be killed near the school (like many girls before her, based on the amount of ‘ tulsey town cups in the trash bin. That... or that they were stuck in some kind of time loop that only Jake was aware of. The story derailed when she suddenly lost the will to get home to finish the essay and it turned into a musical and was happy to sit in the audience of a weird speech. The only logical outcome would have been for her to wake up in a mental hospital and reveal it was all in her mind, but instead it just ends with their car the next day, covered in snow.
